Mt. Washington Parks and City Facilities Rentals
The City of Mt. Washington is proud to provide you with our new rental system and website. To get started please Create an Account with all your household information. A household should include everyone that lives at that address. The data provided - emergency contacts, medical information, etc. - will help us better serve you. This information will be automatically placed into your registration forms and it will also enable you to receive email and text alerts for events at the parks.
The City of Mt. Washington currently has three parks; Lindsey Duvall, Cornell, and the new Sports Complex. The Lindsey Duvall Park is located at 100 Newman Road behind Mt. Washington Elementary School. The Duvall Park has a new pavilion, an updated playground, tennis courts, and the bike and skate park. Additional updates will be coming in 2019. The Cornell Park is located off Waterford Road and has a new playground and open field. The new Mt. Washington Sports Complex is located at 176 Park View Avenue between Landis Lane and Flatlick. The sports complex is approximately 34 acres and opened in October 2018. The complex has 2 tennis courts, 2 full court basketball courts, sand volleyball, 2 t-ball fields, 2 soccer/football fields, 2 mini soccer fields, a full-size baseball, 2 little league baseball fields, and a softball field. The WesBanco Amphitheater seats several hundred people and will be a perfect location for movies, concerts, etc. and a great rental space for weddings or other events. There are also 2 new playground areas and 3 full concessions stands. The walking path surrounding the park is approximately one mile long healthy option for a little exercise. There are also 6 covered pavilions available for rent at the sports complex.
Along with the 3 parks, there are also rental spaces at the Pavilion located adjacent to the City Plaza made possible by the First Baptist Church. There is also a Gazebo located beside the new library and Fick Hall is also an option for rent.
It is a very exciting time for the City of Mt. Washington and we can’t wait for the community to be able to enjoy all of the updates the city is working on.
When your rental request is approved by administration, a 2 business day "hold" will be placed on the facility. Payment must be made during this 2-day period or the facility date will be released back to the public. Payment can be made online via credit card, or with cash/check in person at City Hall. Mailed payments are not accepted. All credit cards will have a 3% convenience fee. A refundable $200 deposit ($100 for not-for-profit) will be added to your rental fees for all facilities. Once you have used the facility, administration will inspect the venue and your deposit will be returned pending no damage, etc. If your deposit was paid via credit card, you will receive the deposit back to your credit card. If you paid via check/cash, the City of Mt Washington will mail you a refund. Deposit refunds will be processed within 7 business days from your rental date.
